About the Pokedex in the Pokemon Go Game

Pokedex is an important mechanism in the Pokemon Go game online as a place to store a number of Pokemon that have been caught by trainers. In this Pokedex, complete information about the data on each Pokemon can be found, so that trainers can choose the strongest Pokemon to be their mainstay in fighting in the Gym, Raid Battle, or against the Rocket team.

At the top of the Pokedex display there are 2 statistics regarding Pokemon that have been caught and visible. At the bottom there is a tab that shows each Pokemon region and the number of Pokemon that have been caught. Entire long pages of the Pokedex contain the Pokemon species in the game. There are 3 types of fields in the Pokedex that you need to know as follows:

  • Non-interactive or displays numbers/numbers
The Pokedex display shows that the Pokemon species have never been seen by trainers.
  • Pokedex Appearance Only Shadows
If the Pokedex only displays a Pokemon’s shadow, of course the trainer hasn’t caught that Pokemon because they’ve only seen it in the wild or at the gym.
  • The Pokedex display displays Pokemon images
The Pokedex displays the Pokemon image perfectly, indicating that the Pokemon has been successfully captured. By clicking on the Pokemon image, data and information will be displayed for trainers.

The trainer’s success in catching Pokemon randomly will of course be arranged neatly and sequentially in the Pokedex based on species. Trainers can see that there are different tile colors in each section for Pokemon species in each region, as follows:

  • Tiles from #1 – #151, respond to species from Kanto in pale purple.
  • Tiles from #152 – #251, respond to species from Johto in pale blue.
  • Tiles from #252 – #386, respond to species from Hoenn in pale purple.
  • Tiles from #387 – #493, responding to species from Sinnoh are pale blue.
  • Tiles from #494 – #649, responding to species from Unova are pale purple.
  • Tiles from #650 – #721, responding to species from Kalos in pale blue.
  • Tiles from #722 – #807, respond to species from Alola in pale purple.
  • Tiles #808 and #809, designated for Meltan and Melmetal from an unknown region, are pale red.
  • Tiles from #810 – #898 respond to species from Galar in pale blue.
  • Tiles from #899 to #905, respond to species from Hisui in pale purple.

Each section of Pokemon has a header row with the name of the region. In the bottom right corner of the page, there is a button that can change the display between the standard Pokedex and the Extra Pokedex. Additionally, in the top right corner of the page there is a search button that allows players to search for specific Pokemon in their Pokedex including searching for caught, viewed, Legendary, and Mythical Pokemon.
